Privacy Policy & Terms of Use

This page applies to the DPJ Hub website (dpjhub.com), the installable web app and the DPJ Hub Android application distributed through Google Play. It explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who can see it, how long we keep it and the rules for using our services.

Last updated: 15 September 2026

1. Information we collect

We only collect information that is needed to run recruitment, learning and enquiry services.

  • Account details: Your name, email address and password (stored only as an encrypted hash). Email verification is mandatory — an account is opened only after you confirm the link we send you.
  • Candidate profile: Photo, phone number, date of birth, gender, address, city, state, country, headline, summary, skills, LinkedIn and portfolio links.
  • Employment and education: Companies, designations, employment type, dates, current and expected compensation, notice period, institutions, degrees, fields of study, grades and years.
  • Documents: Resumes, certificates, offer and promotion letters and any other file you or our HR team upload to your record.
  • Applications and assessments: The jobs you apply to, application status, assessment questions served to you, your answers, score and pass or fail outcome.
  • Communications: Enquiry and investor forms, emails we send you about applications and assessments, and your job-alert subscription preferences.
  • Limited technical data: A one-way hashed form of your IP address for spam and abuse prevention, plus basic device and browser information needed to deliver and secure the service.

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising profiles on it, and we do not collect precise location, contacts, photos library, microphone or SMS data.

2. How we use your information

  • Recruitment: To match you to open roles, show your profile to our HR team when you apply, run the mandatory role assessment and manage shortlisting, interviews and offers.
  • Account management: To create and secure your account, verify your email, reset your password and show your dashboard.
  • Communication: To email application confirmations, assessment invitations, status updates and — only if you opt in — job alerts.
  • Service quality and safety: To prevent duplicate or automated submissions, investigate abuse and keep the platform available.
  • Legal: To meet applicable record-keeping, tax and employment obligations.

We rely on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), on the steps needed to consider you for a role, and on our legitimate interest in operating a safe hiring platform.

3. Google Play app publishing and data safety

The DPJ Hub app published on Google Play is the same service as the website. For the Play Data safety section we declare:

  • Data collected: Name, email address, phone number, photo, address, employment and education history, documents you upload, app activity related to applications and assessments.
  • Data shared with third parties: None for advertising or analytics profiling. Data is processed only by the infrastructure and email providers that run the service on our behalf.
  • Encryption in transit: Yes — all traffic uses HTTPS/TLS.
  • Account and data deletion: You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@dpjhub.com; we action requests within 30 days.
  • Children: The app is intended for people aged 16 and above and is not directed at children.
  • Permissions: The app requests only storage or file access so you can attach a resume or document, and notification permission if you choose to receive alerts.

4. Who can see your information

  • DPJ Hub HR team: Authorised HR and hiring staff can view your profile, documents, applications and assessment results for the roles you applied to.
  • Service providers: Our hosting, database, storage and email providers process data strictly on our instructions.
  • Legal requests: We disclose information only where required by applicable law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Other candidates and the general public never see your profile, documents or scores.

5. Retention, your choices and rights

  • Retention: Active candidate profiles are kept while your account exists. Application and assessment records are kept for up to 24 months after the hiring decision, unless a longer period is legally required.
  • Access and correction: You can view and edit your profile, employment, education and documents at any time from your dashboard.
  • Withdraw consent: You can turn job alerts off in the dashboard and unsubscribe from any alert email.
  • Deletion: Email support@dpjhub.com from your registered address to delete your account and data. Deletion is permanent and withdraws you from open applications.

6. How we protect your data

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, stored in access-controlled databases with row-level security so each candidate can reach only their own records, and documents are kept in private storage served through short-lived, signed links. Passwords are never stored in readable form. No online service can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

7. Terms of Use

  • Accounts: You must provide accurate details, keep your credentials confidential and use a verified email address. One account per person.
  • Candidate information: You are responsible for the accuracy of everything you submit. Misleading or falsified profiles, documents or assessment answers may lead to rejection and account closure.
  • Applications: Applying does not create an employment relationship or any guarantee of an interview, offer or employment.
  • Mandatory assessment: Each application requires completing the role assessment. It may be AI-assisted. Shortlisting is possible only for candidates who pass; attempting to copy, share or automate the assessment is prohibited.
  • Acceptable use: No scraping, reverse engineering, automated access, security probing, malware, spam or uploading unlawful or infringing content.
  • Intellectual property: The DPJ Hub name, logo, site, app, course material and assessment content belong to DPJ Hub. You keep ownership of what you upload and grant us the limited right to use it for recruitment purposes.
  • Third-party services: Links and integrations to external services are governed by their own terms; we are not responsible for their content.
  • Availability and disclaimers: The service is provided on an as-is basis without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
  • Termination: We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time.
  • Changes and governing law: We may update these terms and will change the date at the top of this page. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts at Hyderabad, Telangana having jurisdiction.
